This time, we are soliciting bids for IBC2028 . The International Biometric Society and the American Statistical Association invite nominations for the position of editor of the Journal of Agricultural, Biological, and Environmental Statistics ( JABES ). JABES publishes articles of immediate and practical value to applied researchers and statistical consultants in the agricultural, the biological (including biotechnology), and the environmental sciences (including those dealing with natural resources). Dear IBS Members, Thank you for your outstanding participation in the recent Society-wide election for IBS President-Elect. More than 1,000 ballots were cast and the results are in! We are pleased to announce that José Pinheiro, Global Head of Statistical Modeling & Methodology at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, has been selected by the membership to serve the Society as President-Elect from 1 January 2021 through 31 December 2021. Dear IBS Members, 10 April Update: By now you have heard that our plans have changed, and we have regrettably had to halt planning for an IBC in Seoul for July, 2020. We did not take this decision lightly, and eagerly look forward to seeing our friends and colleagues in person once again at an IBS event in the near future. As plans continue to fluctuate, we will of course keep you informed of our next steps. In the meantime, take care and stay healthy!
