This joint conference of the Austro-Swiss Region (ROeS), the German Region (DR), and the Polish Region of the International Biometric Society (IBS) will take place in Warszawa, Poland, on 18–21 May 2026. The theme of the conference is Power of Data – Shaping the Future of Life Sciences.

We are currently encouraging proposals for short courses. Short courses are usually taught by one (half-day) or one-two (full-day) instructors and may be on an introductory level or may address more advanced and specialized topics. Our goal is to provide courses that will attract a diverse set of registrants, especially students and early-career researchers, and represent various application areas. Short courses are held on Monday before the start of the conference (18 May 2026). A course can either last the full day (4 x 90 minutes) or a half day (2 x 90 minutes). For a half-day course, one instructor will have his/her travel costs (economy flight / 2nd class train) and one hotel night stay reimbursed and the registration costs waived. For a full-day course, these conditions may apply to the second instructor, too (if needed). The CEN organizers are committed to diversity and inclusion (D&I) in the scientific program.

Please submit proposals using the form enclosed below. The form should be sent to secretariat@cen2026.org. For questions, please, contact secretariat@cen2026.org. Only fully completed proposals will be considered.
