It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Professor Sue Wilson on March 16, 2020 in Sydney, Australia, just three days before her 72nd birthday. In addition to her major scientific contributions in the area of statistical genetics, Sue served the broader biometrical community with exceptional leadership and generosity, especially in terms of mentoring junior researchers and helping to foster the profession.
