Thanks to all IBS members for your outstanding participation in the recent Society-wide election for IBS President-Elect. More than 1,100 ballots were cast and the results are in!
We are pleased to announce that Iris Pigeot, Director of the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology - BIPS, University of Bremen, has been selected by the membership to serve the Society as President-Elect from 1 January 2023 through 31 December 2023. Iris will automatically ascend to the office of President for two years on 1 January 2024, followed by a term of one year as Outgoing President. Please join us in congratulating the new IBS President-Elect!
If you are interested in following the example of Professor Pigeot and contributing to the IBS as a volunteer, please contact our office to let us know. There are always opportunities that emerge to support the Society's mission and vision.
