We are pleased to report on an exciting development! Over the past several years, one of our past society Presidents, Professor Lynne Billard from University of Georgia, has been diligently pouring through our extensive archives. With the encouragement of current and past IBS officers, Lynne has written a manuscript based on the materials in the IBS archives. The result is a fascinating read describing the early establishment and development of the society and all its regions.
The book will be published through CRC Press and will be available in time for the IBC2022 conference in Riga, Latvia. More information on this development will be made available in the coming months. Lynne has generously agreed to have all royalties generated from sales of the book to flow back to the Society and support our travel award fund. Thanks to Lynne for her generosity, and congratulations on the completion of this important project!
