Our History

The aim of the Polish Biometric Society is to popularize and develop biometric methods. The main aspects of the Society’s activity are collaboration between mathematicians, especially statisticians, and biologists, physicians and natural scientists of different specialties, and the development of biometrics and enlargement of its applications in various fields of science. Its aims are realized through meetings of scientists at conferences organized by the Society, through courses and other scientific meetings, and through promotion of new developments in the field by means of scientific papers appearing in journals published by the Society.
